The gum tastes great and knowing it can actually help avoid cavities is a really big plus. My son has cerebral palsy so brushing is usually a challenge. The gum is a fun way for him to clean his teeth without the normal struggle. I loved the little note the company sent with the free gift of toothpaste! What a pleasant way for a company to handle disappointment over a cancelled major size order!

Taste is pretty normal, but looses flavor pretty quickly. I'm not sure how long you have to chew it to get the full effect. The gum gets kind of mushy and sticks a little bit to fillings, it chews more "normally" if I mix another sugar free gum with it. I don't think of it as just chewing gum-but as another way of taking care of my teeth, like brushing and flossing. I would rate it higher, but it hasn't been long enough for me to get comments from my hygienist. When-hopefully-that happens, I will certainly find a way to up this rating to "great"!

Where does your xylitol come from?
We exclusively use pharmaceutical-grade xylitol, carefully harvested from non-GMO corn. Every granule of xylitol in Epic Gum is Non-GMO project-certified and of the highest quality we can get our paws on.
Why is THAT part of your recipe?
Here's a comprehensive list of every ingredient we use in our gum and why it's in. You don't even have to take off your shoes to count 'em:
- Xylitol: Sweetens the taste, but mostly for the cavity-crushing punch your smile deserves.
- Gum base: It's what gives the gum its chew.
- Natural Flavors: All-natural extracts and flavors to ensure that every bite of Epic Gum is delicious.
- Soy Lecithin: Oil used to ensure all our ingredients stay perfectly mixed. Harvested from soybeans, but we've pulled the soy proteins out to be more friendly to those with soy allergies.
- Gum Arabic: Sap from the arabic tree, for keeping every piece together.
- Calcium Carbonate: A naturally-occurring mineral, used as coloring in favor of artificial bleaching processes.
- Carnauba Wax: Harvested from carnauba palm leaves, and used to give each piece of Epic Gum a finishing shine.
